Orthopedic Group

Mohawk Valley Health System (MVHS) Orthopedic Group is your local resource for the most up-to-date procedures and treatments addressing a broad range of orthopedic conditions. We are proud to be a part of this community, to support its hospitals, businesses, and schools, and to provide care to its families in a compassionate and highly accessible way.

In February 2012, MVHS welcomed orthopedic surgeons who were formerly with Mohawk Valley Orthopedics to MVHS Medical Group.

Our Philosophy

We will provide superior quality orthopedic care in a caring, compassionate way.

Friendly, caring, compassionate and accessible at all times, up to date on treatment and new procedures, we provide personal service and we treat a broad spectrum of orthopedic problems. We are all residents of the community and support the hospitals, schools and businesses in the area. The vast majority of new patients will be seen by a physician.

Orthopedic Surgeons

Our MVHS orthopedic surgeons get you back to what you love to do. Caring, compassionate and highly skilled, the orthopedic team treats a broad spectrum of orthopedic problems including sports and trauma injuries, shoulder and hand repair, arthroscopies and joint replacements.

As active members of the community, our surgeons understand how important it is to have an active lifestyle – especially living in a community that offers year-round activities like golf, tennis, biking, running and more.

All of the doctors may be reached by calling the (315) 624-8150 number. That number is also answered at night and on weekends by the answering service.

Total Joint Replacement

Our Total Joint Team specializes in the complete care of a patient who has had a total joint replacement.

Your team will include:

  • Physicians
  • Physician Assistants
  • Nurse Practitioners
  • Registered Nurses
  • Care Attendants
  • Physical Therapists
  • Occupational Therapists
  • Pharmacists
  • Case Managers
  • Dietitians

The most important members of the team are you, the patient, and your family. Every detail of our program - from the time the decision is made to receive the joint replacement, to pre-operative teaching to post-operative exercises - will be reviewed with you.

MVHS has a comprehensive program to assist you in attaining a higher level of functioning. We provide a patient guide with information and facts specific to your treatment. Our goal is to provide you with the best care by individualizing your program based upon your needs. Please feel free to ask us any questions or let us know if we can make your stay more comfortable.
