Wednesday, March 19 is the Day to Kick Butts!
On Wednesday, March 19, 2014, Faxton St. Luke’s Healthcare’s Tri-County Quits Tobacco Cessation Program hosts Take Action: Kick Butts Day. Community members are invited to take a step toward a healthier lifestyle by turning in their tobacco products. Once handed in they have the option of choosing a $5 gift card to Dunkin Donuts or McDonald’s, or a water bottle or tote bag (while supplies last).
Tobacco products may be turned in at Sangertown Square Mall, New Hartford, in center court between 3pm and 6pm, or at the Faxton Campus Tri-County Quits Program office located at 1676 Sunset Avenue, Utica, between 9am and 11am.
Every day an estimated 1,200 Americans die from smoking. Use Kick Butts Day on Wednesday, March 19, to make a quit plan and break your tobacco habit.
The Tri-County Quits Tobacco Cessation Program works throughout Oneida, Herkimer and Madison Counties to support healthcare providers and organizations with training and technical assistance that promotes quitting smoking.
