Faxton St. Luke’s Healthcare Announces New Chief Medical Officer

Michael F. Trevisani, MD, MBA, CPE, FASCRS, FACHE, has been named senior vice president/chief medical officer (CMO) for Faxton St. Luke’s Healthcare (FSLH).

In this role, Dr. Trevisani is responsible for the departments of Quality Improvement, Credentialing, Physician Support Services Office (PSSO), Physician Recruitment and the Medical Staff Office.

Dr. Trevisani received his bachelor’s degree from Hamilton College in Clinton, New York, and earned his Doctor of Medicine from SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York. He completed a residency at Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, Pennsylvania, and a fellowship in Colon and Rectal Surgery at UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Affiliated Hospitals in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Dr. Trevisani also received his Masters of Business Administration from the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida.

Dr. Trevisani most recently held the position of vice president of Medical Affairs/CMO at UHS Chenango Memorial Hospital in Norwich, New York, and UHS Delaware Valley Hospital in Walton, New York.

Dr. Trevisani is a fellow of the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgery (FASCRS) and the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE). He is board certified by the American College of Physician Executives (CPE) and is a member of the Iroquois CMO Group.
